| The next clinic is SUNDAY, JANUARY 22ND 2012 from 1:30 to 4:30pm.
The December clinic was successful!
Next clinic date is Jan 22. Demystifying
Horse Whispering was full with a wonderful mix of new and
current students, active volunteers and new ones. Welcoming
aboard new volunteers who are already making a tremendous
difference.
Our April clinic brought rave reviews from our "sold out" crowd:
"Just wanted to let you know I really enjoyed today's clinic..It was the lst time that I can remember watching horses & have someone interpret what was going on..it gave me more insight into their behavior, and I know it will help me when I work with them...all in all it was a great way to spend a saturday afternoon..I'd like to have more clinic opportunities during the year".
Margie B., Sebastopol
"had two amazing days at the farm! Thank you Susan & to all the volunteers for making this a special place to land in a hectic and stressful world"

"The clinic gave me new tools to work with on the horses
here, and with my goats at home. Much of what I learned
transferred well to them. It was wonderful to have my
existing skills reaffirmed & know that I am on the
right track. It's helpful to be reminded again, that every
animal is an individual, and their pace of learning will
vary with new exercises and information".

We offer an ongoing educational series to help overcome
fears about horses, build confidence and skills in dealing
with them, and understand their place in our world.
Their are scholarships and volunteer opportunities to
assist with cost that are detailed on our website.
This clinic is in conjunction with Well Trained Horses
(WTH) which works to rescue horses that have the most
promise for rehabilitation, re-training, and re-homing
in for life home. One of our primary goals is to end outsourcing
of our horses across the Mexican boarder for an Auschwitz
like transport, and unbelievably inhumane slaughter.
