All horses follow the alpha mare with simple movements of their body, they learn to follow us with what seems to be a whisper.
This clinic is appropriate for anyone interested in horses and
wants to begin to learn about natural horsemanship. For the
more experienced, this clinic will help those who want to become more sophisticated in their execution as well as develop advanced skills in observation and head off behaviors that could become major problems. Participants will all receive individual attention.
This clinic will provide demonstrations, as well as individual attention to all participants. There will be plenty of opportunity for questions and answers.
We will provide horses as appropriate and needed for all participants.
For those who are uncomfortable, or uneasy working with horses, you will have an easy, gentle horse and a one-on-one experienced groundwork buddy to work with. We will work with you to assure experience is safe and "slowly begins to stretch your comfort zone."
Intermediate concepts will be offered to those returning, as more skilled in natural horsemanship, all will benefit by watching the "magic" of skilled workers.
* (limited to 3 offsite horses).
Location: Icssoma Farms, 11114 Falstaff Rd,

This is part of an ongoing educational series to help overcome fears about horses, build confidence and skills in dealing with them, and understand their place in our world.
Their are scholarships and volunteer opportunities to assist with cost that are detailed on our website.
This clinic is in conjunction with Well Trained Horses (WTH) which works to rescue horses that have the most promise for rehabilitation, re-training, and re-homing in for life home. One of our primary goals is to end outsourcing of our horses across the Mexican boarder for an Auschwitz like transport, and unbelievably inhumane slaughter.
