Well Trained Horses' (based at Icssoma Farms LLC) mission is to rehabilitate, re-train and re-home promising rescue horses; work to eliminate equine transport across US borders for the purpose of slaughter; and include youth at risk in our rescue programs, helping them to build confidence, compassion, career and life skills. Our 2012 summer camps are just around the corner. This year we will have a total of 7-five day camps running most weeks. For details & schedules check back in January. The times will be similar to the 2011 schedule, and the price will be unchanged.

Icssoma Farm LLC is a full range equestrian facility nestled in a serene country setting. We offer lessons, training, mini lessons, Pony parties, summer camps, and sales. Our focus is on dressage and jumping with a natural horse training perspective.

Ricky Finn is not just the best horse I have ever owned, he is the best horse I have ever known. To imagine what might have become of him if he hadn't been rescued is just unthinkable. He is cute as can be, playful, so smart, so affectionate, but also so steady under saddle that I feel we can do anything together. I am so grateful too for the care you took in retraining him. I never owned a thoroughbred before, maybe lot's of them are like Finn, but to me he is one in a million. I just love him so much, we are definitely a forever match! Thank you Susan.
