Recchiuti (aka Rio) is a super mellow, uncomplicated fun 4 year old TB Gelding. Excellent ground manners, stands well on the ground and under saddle. Quiet, occasionally strong, like most of our horses has "built in safety/stop", quiet, super temperament, loves attention. Good on trails. Puppy dog personality. He's very sweet and doesn't spook, even with dogs running around his feet. Solid dressage foundation: easy to get on the bit, moves off leg nicely, rein back, leg yield, turn on the forehand. Sensitive to the leg and seat. Six inch overstep at the walk, lovely trot and canter. Substantial build, 17 Hands. No vices. Never raced. He has a great mind and learns new things quickly. Started over fences. He has lots of scope and would make a good eventer. He has lots of scope, but jumping is limited , low & easy. to maintain his soundness. He has been ridden by  a talented eleven year-old with no problem. lots of great years ahead as a serviceably sound buddy. as with all our horses we will work w. price/donation, to  the right home. all our horses need great matches.
